The analyst

Research first. Noise never.

I am Priyadharshan R, the Research Analyst behind Equitify. My work is simple to describe: study the market carefully, form an independent view, and share research that an investor or trader can actually reason with.

Every recommendation is based on analysis of publicly available information and is issued with a clear rationale, a view and a defined risk. I am not affiliated with any broker or intermediary, so nothing I publish is influenced by commission — the only thing a recommendation has to answer to is the research behind it.

Equitify covers four areas — cash equity, stock & index futures, stock & index options, and model portfolios — so there is a research service that matches your holding period and risk appetite, whether you invest patiently or trade actively.

What a Research Analyst can and cannot do

Under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014 the boundaries are set by law — not by preference. Here they are, plainly.

We can

Activities permitted to a registered Research Analyst.

  • Prepare and publish research reports on listed securities.
  • Make buy / sell / hold recommendations on securities.
  • Give price targets and a defined time horizon.
  • Provide trading calls, including intraday, positional and F&O setups.
  • Recommend a model portfolio, disclosed true-to-label with its benchmark and rebalancing approach.
  • Offer an opinion on public offers — IPO, FPO, offer for sale, buy-back, takeover, delisting.
  • Use Artificial Intelligence tools in the course of producing research — disclosed to you upfront.

“Securities” is as defined in section 2(h) of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956.

We cannot

Hard limits. If anyone claiming to be an RA offers you these, walk away.

  • Execute any trade — buy or sell — on your behalf. Never give an RA access to your trading account.
  • Ask for your login credentials or OTP for your trading, demat or bank account.
  • Promise, guarantee or assure returns, profits, or a risk-free investment.
  • Offer assured-return schemes, prize money, leagues, contests or gifts.
  • Accept fees in cash, or charge more than ₹1,51,000 per annum per family (individual / HUF clients).
  • Handle or hold your funds or securities at any point.
  • Claim to be “best”, “No. 1” or “top rated”, or advertise guaranteed past performance.

Full Do’s and Don’ts are published in the Compliance section below.

Fees are plus GST and statutory levies as applicable. The struck-through figure is the standard fee; the amount shown is the current introductory offer. Total fees across all services cannot exceed ₹1,51,000 per annum per family for individual / HUF clients. Payment is accepted only through banking channels (UPI, bank transfer or cheque), or through BSE’s Centralized Fee Collection Mechanism (CeFCoM) — never in cash, and only after your consent to the Terms & Conditions and MITC is on record. Fees are not linked to, and do not assure, any return.

Pricing unlocked. For the plan best suited to you, talk to us or message on WhatsApp.

These are research service fees only. No fees are charged and no research is provided until KYC is completed and your consent on the Terms & Conditions and the Most Important Terms & Conditions (MITC) has been taken. Investment in securities market is subject to market risks.

How it works

From first message to first report, in four steps.

The onboarding sequence is prescribed by SEBI. Nothing is skipped, and nothing starts before your consent.

1

Talk it through

A short conversation about your segment, holding period, capital and risk appetite — so the right plan is recommended, not the expensive one.

2

KYC & consent

Identity and address proof, PAN and a completed KYC, verified with a KYC Registration Agency (KRA). You then read and consent to the Terms & Conditions, MITC, Disclosures and Investor Charter.

3

Pay through banking channels

Fees by UPI, bank transfer or cheque — or through BSE’s Centralized Fee Collection Mechanism (CeFCoM). Never in cash. Only after consent is on record.

4

Receive the research

Signed, dated reports with the rationale, the level, the target and the stop-loss — plus follow-up updates and exit alerts through the life of the idea.

Read this before you trade F&O

Most individual F&O traders lose money.

Futures and options are offered as research desks when the setup calls for it. Before you take a single position, understand what the regulator’s own study found about individual traders in the equity Futures & Options segment.

9 in 10Individual traders in the equity F&O segment incur net losses.
≈ ₹50,000The average net loss borne by loss-making traders.
+28%Additional spend on transaction costs, over and above their net trading losses.

Source: SEBI study on individual traders in the equity derivatives segment. Past performance is not a guarantee of future returns. Research does not guarantee profit or protect against loss. FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Will you manage my money or place trades for me?

No. A Research Analyst cannot execute any purchase or sale transaction on your behalf, and cannot hold your funds or securities. You place every trade yourself, in your own account, at your own discretion. Please never permit any Research Analyst to trade on your behalf, and never share your trading, demat or bank login credentials or OTPs with anyone.

Do you guarantee returns?

No, and by law nobody registered with SEBI may. Any assured, guaranteed or fixed-return scheme is prohibited. All opinions, projections and estimates are based on analysis of available data under stated assumptions as of the date the report is published. Investments made on the basis of a research report are subject to market risk, and there is no recourse to claim losses incurred on them.

What do the four research desks cover?

Equity is cash-segment stock research. Futures and Options research each cover both stocks and index, mixed as the setup calls for. Model Portfolio is a disclosed, true-to-label basket with its benchmark and rebalancing approach. You choose the segment and the term (3 months, 6 months or 1 year) that match how you participate in the market.

Why is the pricing hidden until I enter my details?

So we can share the current fees and, just as importantly, point you to the plan that actually fits your segment and risk appetite rather than the most expensive one. Your name and number are used only to send you plan information. Entering them does not create any obligation, and no fee is charged until you complete KYC and consent to the Terms & Conditions and MITC.

How much can you charge me?

A maximum of ₹1,51,000 per annum per family, across all research services, for individual and HUF clients. This excludes statutory charges and does not apply to non-individual clients or accredited investors. Advance fees cannot exceed one year. On early termination you are entitled to a proportionate refund of the unexpired period.

How do I pay, and can I pay in cash?

Cash is not allowed. Pay by UPI, online bank transfer or cheque, or optionally through the Centralized Fee Collection Mechanism (CeFCoM) operated by BSE Limited as the recognised RAASB. Always pay through banking channels and keep a signed receipt showing the details of your payment.

Do you use AI to produce research?

Artificial Intelligence tools may be used in the course of providing research services. The extent of that use is disclosed to clients, as required under the Investor Charter. The analysis, the judgement and the responsibility for every published recommendation remain with the Research Analyst.

How do I check that your registration is genuine?

Please do. Search for registration number INH000030241 in the list of registered Research Analysts on the SEBI website, and confirm the name and address match what is published here. Always deal with a SEBI-registered Research Analyst, and always check the registration number before paying anyone.
